Qué es What it is
Un cortometraje propio y original nacido de un taller de actuación para cámara con niños en Paradis Teaterskole (Bergen, mayo de 2015). De ese taller salió su propia leyenda del norte: cada invierno, el duende de la Navidad prepara la sopa mágica que permite la vida en la tierra —pero este año, unos troles han robado el ingrediente principal: el amor. Un grupo de niños —entre ellos varias Caperucitas Rojas, el hombrecito azul y unos cocineros que quizás sepan dónde buscar— se lanza a encontrarlo antes de que el invierno se pierda. Una de sus inspiraciones externas fue «Liten Blåfugl» (Apropos Teater / Bergen Byspill). Existe también su gemela en inglés, «Once upon the winter».
An original short film of its own, born from an acting-for-camera workshop with children at Paradis Teaterskole (Bergen, May 2015). Out of that workshop came its own northern legend: every winter, the Christmas gnome brews the magic soup that keeps life on Earth going — but this year, trolls have stolen the key ingredient: love. A group of children —among them several Little Red Riding Hoods, the little blue man, and some cooks who might know where to look— sets out to find it before winter is lost. One of its outside inspirations was «Liten Blåfugl» (Apropos Teater / Bergen Byspill). There is also its English-language twin, «Once upon the winter».

Érase el invierno no adapta un cuento: lo inventa con quienes lo protagonizan. Nació de un taller de actuación para cámara con niños — y el ingrediente que se pierde en la historia no es cualquier cosa: es el amor. Sin él, ni siquiera el propio duende de la Navidad puede seguir su oficio de cada invierno.
Érase el invierno does not adapt a tale: it invents one with the very people who star in it. It was born from an acting-for-camera workshop with children — and what goes missing in the story is no small thing: it is love. Without it, not even the Christmas gnome himself can carry on his winter's work.

Raúl restauró el reel en 2025. «Liten Blåfugl» —“little blue bird”— is a one-hour performance by Apropos Teater / Bergen Byspill; it was one of the inspirations, nothing more.
